What is a story?

Stories are a number of different things but are always made up of a narrative/tale that either entertains or gives a message. They can be fiction or non-fiction (based on real life). There is a beginning middle and end to a story and there are a number of narrative theorys,

-Situations
-Cliffhangers

Stories are used in education, games, cartoons, music, film, art,newspapers and fashion. They often tell ourselves about ourselves and give us comfort for example, the tooth fairy or father christmas.
